About 20 keen riders turned up on the coldest day About 20 keen riders turned up on the coldest day of the year so far, but the sun was shining. A few had opted for a safer mtb ride, but fast and medium road groups went to Wales.
The medium group took in Tintern, St Briavels and Chepstow and although there was ice, we avoided it well. With a tailwind home, we were warm and fast and very glad we went out. Don’t miss it for the weather, it’s rarely as bad as you imagine 🚴❄️

Probably the worst weather of the year, very wet Probably the worst weather of the year, very wet and windy, surely not a day for riding. But 16 of us turned up, and two groups went south into the wind, and it kept raining. But eventually it stopped and we got blown home from Cheddar, and the sun even came out as we hit Bristol. It was a good day and everyone was glad they went out 😁👍🚴
