Bristol South’s Hill Climb on Burrington Combe

Fantastic rides by Bristol Road Club at the Bristol South CC Hill Climb on Burrington Combe last Sunday morning, to win the team prize.
With the National Hill Climb Championships taking place on Sunday, BRC riders Archie Cross (7-15.90) and Phil Stonelake (7-26.90) took second and third place respectively, only beaten by National title contender, Ed Laverack, who did 7-04.60 over the 2 mile climb.

Phil was fastest Vet and will be looking to retain his National Vets title on Sunday.

Harvey Thomas was 10th and 1st Junior (8-11.40) and overall WTTA Junior series winner.

Steve Thomas was 17th (8-27.90) and was top Vet across the WTTA series, winning overall by just one point.
Archie, Phil, Harvey and Steve are all riding the Nationals on Sunday at Llangollen in North Wales.
