It may be cold outside, but BRC club run has still It may be cold outside, but BRC club run has still been out having fun every Saturday morning. We are rightly proud of our excellent riding formation: best for safety, chat and whizzing along. The only variation is the change: a slow chaingang rotating from right to left line every 5-10 minutes, or in pairs move from front to back then slowly work way back to front. #bristolroadclub #bristolcycling #bristolcyclists

Two groups headed out, both to Wales, setting out in the fog, but blessed with sun as we climbed out of the Wye Valley. @thewildharetintern provided a great venue for one group to warm up, and refuel ( with a 4 star breakfast bap- high praise indeed from @edward.curran.58 ). #bristolcyclists #bristolroadclub #bristolcycling

We had 22 keen (or foolish) riders turn up in wind We had 22 keen (or foolish) riders turn up in wind and rain at Brunel Lock this morning. Well, it was the first clubrun of the new year.
So two groups headed south into the wind, and the rain got worse, and worse!
The medium group took shelter in Nailsea, before deciding to have an early café stop in the hope it might stop. Well it didn’t, it became torrential, but just as we were thinking of heading home, it stopped, so we headed off up Burrington, and it was sunny by the time we got back! 🌧️👍🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🌞😃
